Scourge of the GodKing

A Trilogy, Part 1 of The Chronicles of Okishdu

Book 1 The Eye of Adnan

Irilik, a young priest in the order of Aganon, is the first of his line in four generations to activate the Eye of Adanan, a holy device that forecasts the future. He sees the destruction of the holy city he was meant to rule as high priest. With his sworn servant, Tedak, he sets out on a series of adventures that bring him in contact with wizards, rebels, pirates and slaves.

Book 2 The Stone of Truth

Afraid of what he might see, Irilik ignores the Eye of Adanan and uses his skills as an astronomer to help the rebel army conquer Kishdu. When Algun, the head of the rebels, becomes complicit with the Noncil Wizards who name him Algunagada,'God-King', Irilik and Tedak set out to rescue those who fall victim to the new regime. With the help of a stone bestowed by The Radiance, they gather those who will not forswear freedom and truth and set out on a pilgrimage to safety in a new land.

Book 3 Son of the God-King

All is not well in the city of Timora in Okishdu where Irilik and his followers settle. Tagun, second son of Algunagada, the God King of Kishdu, foments a secret rebellion to overturn Irilik. Algun, Tagun's younger brother, is offered the chance to rule by his side, but he chooses another path.
